Fans want a Big Bang Theory reboot. However, at the moment, the only story surfacing involves tension among the cast since the show came to an end. Those implicated: Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik.
Sadly, there is reason to believe tension does exist between the two sides. In the following, we are going to reveal which issues recently resurfaced, and how social media might confirm the tension.

Jim Parsons And Mayim Bialik Still Don't Follow Johnny Galecki On IG
Tension within the cast of The Big Bang Theory? Nothing has ever been confirmed. However, rumors have swirled for years that four of the main stars may have been implicated. That includes Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik. In fact, the rumor continues to swirl today, as Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik still don't follow Johnny Galecki on Instagram.
The alleged feud started to resurface a few weeks ago after an insider brought up how different the four careers have gone since then, and the way Bialik and Parsons might be doing more to ensure the long-term success of The Big Bang Theory and the cast's royalties.
Nonetheless, aside from that, there has been some shots fired in the past. Johnny Galecki in particular went after Jim Parsons after he didn't agree with the way the actor left the show behind.
Galecki revealed, "I was shocked. We were just blindsided that day. And not necessarily shocked by Jim's decision, but that he hadn't had that conversation with his castmates first to prepare us," Galecki said.
"So yes, it could have been handled better. We're a family; have a conversation."
Kaley Cuoco felt similar to Galecki on the day, and was not prepared for such an announcement from her co-star.
"The shock of Oh my god, what is next? was scary," Kaley Cuoco said. "I mean, we cried for hours that day." "We thought we were going to do another year, so all of the sudden your life kind of flashes before your eyes. … I couldn't breathe. It just felt like a death, but also a new horizon for everybody as well."

He was set to appear on 10 episodes of The Big Bang Theory, but requested his exit after just one show.
It was later mentioned that although Kaley and Johnny weren't aware of Parsons' intentions, other cast members did know about it. Simon Heldberg admits Parsons briefed him on his future, and understood why he was stepping out of the show. Odd that Kaley and Johnny didn't get the same warning after more than a decade of working together…
Johnny Galecki And Kaley Cuoco's Feud With Jim Parsons And Mayim Bialik Resurfaced
According to Closer, a divide between the four might be "unfixable."
The insider notes this caused a major dilemma behind the scenes.
- “It's crazy how things have reversed in the six years since Big Bang Theory went off the air. Jim has become a key architect of the interconnected universe via his executive producing and narration role on Young Sheldon, which made him tens of millions of dollars beyond the vast fortune he built on the original show, where he made more than $25 million per year in the final seasons.”
Different career paths also added to the tension.
- "During the same time period, Mayim had the profound epiphany that being a dedicated TV comedy actress, not a part-time game show host, was her destiny. And she, of course, sees a similar future to what Jim has enjoyed during the last few years as Warner Bros. seeks to make more shows set in this continuity. But today, in 2024, Kaley and Johnny aren't involved whatsoever,” the insider went on to reveal.

Fans on Reddit have also noticed the divide between Kaley Cuoco and Mayim Bialik. Mayim does in fact follow Kaley, but Cuoco refuses to tap the follow button back… All these years later, that hasn't changed.

Fans speculated on Reddit. Some believe that there is a rift between the two, while others call it an ego move from Kaley.
"From what I read in a few places, no. Bernadette got along well with both of them but Kaley and Mayim had different “energies” lol. You can see it in some of the interviews they did when the series ended," a fan speculates.
"Very bizarre take and also perception of social media. I have an instagram where I have friends and old classmates etc. I follow everyone. And one very restricted. Guess which one I actually use and not just as a facade."
Let's just hope Kaley forgot to press the follow button back… Even though it has been years.
