Jennifer Aniston’s Ex-Husband is Engaged to Actress 23 Years Younger Than Him

Jennifer Aniston's ex-husband has some major news to share — he's engaged.

Justin Theroux, who was married to Aniston from 2015 to 2018, walked the red carpet at the Venice International Film Festival on Wednesday, August 28, alongside girlfriend Nicole Brydon Bloom. The couple may have been in attendance for the premiere of the 53-year-old actor's new movie, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, but it was Bloom's fashion accessory that caught everyone's attention.

Bloom, 30, sported a diamond ring on her ring finger, which quickly sparked engagement rumors among fans. As the pair faced cameras, the Gilded Age actress put her left hand on the Leftovers actor's arm and torso, flashing her bling to photographers. After much buzz, People later confirmed that the couple is, in fact, engaged.

Though Theroux and Bloom — who have a 23-year age gap between them — tend to keep their relationship as private as possible, they are often spotted enjoying fun, romantic moments together. The two were first spotted together back in February 2023 while at an event for Netflix in New York City. A few months later, they were photographed enjoying dinner at Manhattan restaurant Altro Paradiso. Last October, the couple were seen leaving a gym together.

Though the White House Plumbers actor and Aniston remain good friends — and have spent time together since their 2018 divorce — Theroux revealed in a 2023 interview in Esquire that he much prefers being in a minimally publicized relationship. (Aniston, who was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, has not been in a public relationship since her split from Theroux.)

"People will always want to gossip and say things, but you have to find that balance," Theroux said. "And having been in a public relationship, it's much more fun not being in a public relationship. Me saying anything, even if it was something loving, it would just turn into a thing. So it's a classic no-comment situation for me."

While it's clear the two are enjoying their time as a low-profile couple, the rock on Bloom's hand is going to be hard not to notice.
