How did Gal Gadot meet her husband, Jaron Varsano?

Gal Gadot is one of the most popular actresses in the industry at the moment and has been making a lot of headlines recently after she recently gave birth to her 4th daughter. Other than being an incredible actress, Gadot has also served as a combat fitness instructor in the Israel Defense Forces for two years.

Gal Gadot has been married to Jaron Varsano for almost 16 years and they are also the parents to 4 daughters. The duo first met back in 2006 at a “chakra/yoga retreat type of party” as they talked about the event once in an interview with Vogue.

Gadot talked about her first meeting with Varsano and revealed that she was kind of restless to meet him again after their first meeting. She said,

“Something happened kind of from the first moment we started talking. When we got home, I was like, ‘Is this too early to call you? I want to have a date.’ Then we go out, and by the second date he told me, ‘I’m going to marry you. I’m going to wait for two years, but we’re going to get married.’ I was like, ‘Fine.’”

Jaron Varsano also weighed in on the topic and revealed more details about their romantic encounter. He said,

“We were in a very unique laboratory—a desert retreat in the south of Israel. And both she and I were at a stage in our lives where we were thinking about what is love and what is a relationship. We started talking at 10 p.m., and we kissed at sunrise, and we held hands on the drive back to Tel Aviv. At that moment, we were just glued together. It was beautiful.”

Jaron Varsano even relocated to LA for the sake of Gal Gadot’s acting career.

However, in 2017, Jaron Varsano decided to sell his entire real estate portfolio and move to Los Angeles with Gal Gadot who was pregnant with their 2nd daughter at the time. Before moving to LA, the Wonder Woman actress had told Varsano, “You’re a developer. Develop movies.” Therefore, in 2019, the couple formed their very own production company, Pilot Wave.

Jaron Varsano also tried his hand at acting in Wonder Woman: 1984

As mentioned previously, Jaron Varsano was a real estate developer back in Israel. However, after he formed his own production company, Pilot Wave with his wife, Gal Gadot, it seems like Varsano also decided to try his hand at acting.

Jaron Varsano had a cameo scene in Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman: 1984. Varsano appeared with the couple’s 2nd daughter, Maya towards the end of the movie in the carousel scene. Their eldest daughter, Alma also had a cameo scene in the movie alongside the director Patty Jenkins’ son Asa.

Once in an interview with Good Day DC, Gal Gadot opened up about the filming of the movie and talked about how having her family in the movie was a very special moment for her. She said,

“It meant a lot, especially in that very special scene. I have 2 daughters, and both of them appeared, the oldest appeared with Asa, with Patty’s son, and then my youngest one whom I was pregnant with during the reshoots of Wonder Woman, the first one was there with my husband.

But, this movie is more than just a movie for us. For me, for Patty. It completely changed my life and the amount of labor, thought and emotions that we put into the movie is a lot. And I couldn’t have done my movie without the support of my amazing family. To have them captured in the film with me meant a lot. It’s an amazing, amazing souvenir that we will forever cherish.”

Gal Gadot also never fails to show gratitude to her husband in front of the world. The actress has stated multiple times in the past that she will never be as successful as she is without the help of her husband, Jaron Varsano.
