Where Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s Engagement and Wedding Stand

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly got engaged in 2022, but still haven't made it down the aisle. Here's a status update on the couple.

Things are looking up for Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly!

Following a year of ups and downs, breakups and makeups, the actress and the rocker are doing well and still working on repairing their love, according to a source.

"Things have been much better with Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly," the source tells ET. "They've been problem solving, working on effective communication, reestablishing their commitment to each other, and realigning the direction of their relationship and where they want it to go."

According to the source, Fox, 38, and Kelly, 34, are working through their communication issues with the help of therapy, separately and as a unit. As a result, their wedding plans are on hold.

"Communication and therapy are what’s working best for them at this time," the source adds. "They're both still committed to working on themselves and together. Their engagement and wedding are still on standby, but they're very happy in this moment together."

Over the weekend, the couple put on a united front at Michael Rubin's star-studded Fourth of July all-white party. The couple attended the Hamptons kickback alongside other notable names including Tom Brady, Kim Kardashian, Gayle King, Beyonce, JAY-Z, and more.

For the occasion, Fox rocked a white dress by White Fox to the fête.

Last month, the pair stepped out together for another rare date night in matching blazers at the Celebration: Dinner & Performance at the Nemacolin resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania. The pair also reconciled for the "Bloody Valentine" singer's birthday in April.

Kelly (whose real name is Colson Baker) and Fox, began their romance in 2020. The twin flames got engaged (with blood) in January 2022. In the year that followed, the pair went through breakups. Since, the couple has endured cheating rumors, therapy sessions and more relationship challenges.

In May, a separate source told ET that Fox and MGK are "taking things one day at a time with their relationship."

"They are continuing to go to therapy, be fully transparent with each other about their feelings, and have consistent communication," the source said at the time. "They have dealt with some trust issues, but are both making a continual effort to stay committed to their mutual end goal of being together forever. They are also respecting each other's space when needed, which is key for them during this time."
