Megan Fox is handcuffed to her dead husband in first look images from the horror movie Till Death. Thanks to her starring role in Michael Bay's blockbuster Transformers, Fox became an international superstar in the '00s and endured all the sometimes harsh scrutiny that came along with her new status.
Fox of course moved quickly to capitalize on her new-found fame, but her next role in a big budget film would be a disappointment, as the 2010 comic book adaptation Jonah Hex proved to be a flop at the box office. But by that time Fox had actually already made the movie that would prove to be arguably her greatest success artistically, the 2009 horror film Jennifer's Body, written by Diablo Cody and directed by Karyn Kusama. Though that movie was itself a box office disappointment at the time of release (and Fox has expressed her views on why exactly the movie failed), it would later go on to garner a cult following and is now widely regarded as one of the more underrated horror movies of the 21st Century.

Fox's first go-around as a scream queen indeed turned out to be a success for her, and now she's returning to the horror genre for her next project, the thriller Till Death. Directed by first time feature film helmer S.K. Dale, the movie is set for release in 2021, and now there are some first-look images from the film featuring Fox in a very perilous (and incredibly bloody) situation (via Collder). The brief synopsis for Till Death reads as follows:
“Till Death tells the story of Emma (Fox), who is left handcuffed to her dead husband as part of a sickening revenge plot. She must survive two hired killers on their way to finish the job.”
That description of course sounds very familiar, as it bears more than a passing resemblance to the premise of Stephen King's Gerald's Game, which was memorably adapted by Mike Flanagan for Netflix back in 2017. Unsurprisingly given the film's grim subject matter, the handful of just-released Till Death stills all feature the movie's star Fox covered in blood and clearly in very desperate straits. In addition to Fox, the film stars Eoin Macken (Resident Evil: The Final Chapter), Aml Ameen (Sense8), Callan Mulvey (Avengers: Endgame) and Jack Roth (Bohemian Rhapsody).
Just going by the movie's synopsis, it certainly sounds like Fox will be doing most of the lifting in Till Death (just as Carla Gugino did in Flanagan's adaptation of Gerald's Game). It surely seems the movie will give Fox a chance to further burnish her horror credentials after leaving a lasting impression as the complicated horror villain Jennifer in Jennifer's Body. Till Death does not yet have an official release date.
