Choosing thankfulness and gratefulness is choosing peace. As much as you’d like to remind people verbally that being in the spotlight doesn’t absolve you of your humanity — that you’re allowed to have human moments — it doesn’t necessarily do what you want it to do. It fuels them more.
The thing is, Snow White is more than just a fairy tale. It’s a freaking cultural icon. The first-ever feature-length cartoon! Oscar-winner! You get the picture. So, messing with perfection is a risky gamble. And right now, it looks like Disney might be losing.
But hey, maybe the final product will be a diamond in the rough. We’ll just have to wait and see if this Snow White can thaw out some hearts. Or if it’s headed straight for the cinematic freezer.

It looks like this is a terrible PR move by Disney. They’re up against a bigger problem than the Seven Dwarfs were up against a giant. Can Snow White get away from this reaction on the internet? Time will tell.
Maybe the film will do wonders once it hits screens. But for now, though, it looks like the magic mirror may have been lying about which of them is the loveliest.
