The action looks impressive, and Supergirl will meet formidable characters, like the villain Krem of the Yellow Hills, and a certain Main Man.

The actor is known for playing Aquaman in the old DCEU, a role that he now leaves behind to give life to the comic book character he has campaigned to play for many years. Additionally, Momoa's Lobo looks even better than his Aquaman.
Both characters also look absolutely different, with Lobo possessing chalk white skin, while Aquaman was more human-like. Through that, the DCU finds a way to bring back other DCEU Justice League stars in new roles. Cavill himself could even potentially return to play a new DC character that looks nothing like Superman. Gunn previously said he discussed DCU roles with Cavill.
Despite his brief appearance in the Supergirl trailer, Lobo became a popular topic of discussion among fans after the footage dropped. It is clear that the fact that Momoa is coming back adds a level of excitement that just casting another actor as Lobo would not have been able to replicate.
