Matty Matheson talks about sets and Friends

It is quite understandable how people often get confused by the sets of shows and movies that they see on their screens. Although the sets of some large-scale movies and series are absolutely huge, that is not the case for smaller series or movies. Most of the sets that we see in the series are built in a relatively smaller area like that of a plane hanger.

Matheson who was not so used to being on the sets for a long time before definitely never realized that and once in an interview with Interview Magazine, the actor opened up about how he felt about sets and Friends before he appeared as Neil Fak on The Bear. He said,

“I never understood what a set was. Now I’m on a set inside of an airplane hangar for three months, and this whole world’s created within it. You’re telling me that on Friends, all these people were just going to a concrete cave? And all these actors just live in these fucking caves? That’s the craziest thing to me.”

So, back in 2016, Matheson gave his cheeseburger recipe to the world and it really changed his life. Talking about his time with Vice TV, Matheson said,

“They put me on. The glory years were something, and then turned into what it turned into. But that first cheeseburger video changed my life. Without it, I’d still just be a chef, or maybe not. Maybe I’d be dead.”
