Sources close to the tennis icon reveal that the 44-year-old star will tie the knot this September with her fiancé, Italian actor and model Andrea Preti, in a romantic, private ceremony along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast of Italy.
While Venus hasn’t officially confirmed the engagement (in true Venus fashion), fans have been speculating for over a year — thanks to a stunning diamond ring that’s been glittering on that finger.
Neither her rep nor her agent has commented, but those close to Venus say she’s never been happier.

For several days, Venus and her crew — including her best friend, WNBA legend Lisa Leslie, and of course, her sister Serena Williams — swam, danced, and sipped prosecco under the Adriatic sun.
Venus, who keeps her social media focused on her professional passions, didn’t post much about the party, but a now-viral Instagram clip showed her dancing with Lisa Leslie in a stunning garden on Italian soil.
Meanwhile, Serena, who’s been in Europe all summer with her husband Alexis Ohanian and their two daughters, shared snippets from a yacht that perfectly matched the rumored party location in Sardinia.
“It was a family thing, with just a few close friends. Exactly how Venus wanted it,” another friend said. “It was calm, classy, and full of laughter.”

A Love Story Made in Italy
Venus and Andrea Preti first met in early summer 2024, while both were vacationing in — where else — Italy. Within weeks, the couple was spotted sailing off the coast near Nerrano, exchanging smiles and shared sunrises.
By January 2025, Venus posted a sweet story from the Bahamas, referring to Preti as “The best company” — a subtle but rare public show of affection from the famously private athlete.
The 36-year-old Preti, who models internationally and appears in indie European films, is said to be “grounded, creative, and deeply supportive.” Friends say he complements Venus’ strength with quiet confidence.
