Possible new godmother? Pregnant Brittany Mahomes shared a precious photo of pal Taylor Swift cradling her baby bump as the ladies cheered on their partners at the Kansas City Chiefs game on Monday, October 7.
Taylor, 34, sipped a drink from a glass with boyfriend Travis Kelce‘s No. 87 jersey number on it while placing her hand across Brittany’s belly, as fellow Chiefs WAG Lyndsay Bell did the same from the other side.
Brittany, 29, wrote in the caption, “Same girls, new bump,” while including two throwback photos from the previous Chiefs season when Lyndsay, who is married to Chiefs tight end Blake Bell, was pregnant with baby No. 2.
In the pictures, Taylor stood in the same position, sipping from a drink and cradling Lyndsay’s bump as Brittany did the same while at the Chiefs’ wild card game against the Miami Dolphins on January 13, and again when the team beat the Baltimore Ravens in the January 28 AFC Championship game.
Fans got a laugh at how the “Fortnight” singer was drinking in all of the photos as if to make it clear she wasn’t pregnant. “Love how Taylor makes sure she is sipping on a drink during pictures like not me,” one person commented, while another added, “Taylor’s sippin her drink like ‘NO I’M NOT.'”
Other fans hoped that Taylor could be the next in the trio to be expecting a baby. One follower wrote, “Maybe next year Taylor will have the bump!!!!!” as another wondered, “Does this mean Taylor is next for next season????” One user cheered, “Too cute. Taylor is next.”
Brittany and husband Patrick Mahomes announced on July 12 that they were expecting baby No. 3 in a sweet video showing their two kids, daughter Sterling Skye and son Patrick “Bronze,” dancing and holding a photo of their mom’s ultrasound. “Round three, here we come,” the couple wrote in the caption.
When the Super Bowl 2024 MVP reported to training camp on July 16, he told reporters that the latest addition to their family would be the last.
“I’m done. I’ll say that,” he laughed. “I said three and I’m done,” he added while calling fatherhood “awesome” and revealing, “I always wanted to have kids young.”
Patrick and Brittany shared in a July 19 gender reveal video that they are expecting another daughter.
Four days later, the Sports Illustrated bikini model revealed in an Instagram Story that her third pregnancy was the most challenging.
“Good morning just me and my skin that’s losing it’s mind…” Brittany wrote over a makeup-free selfie.
“This pregnancy has been the hardest on me … sickness, exhaustion, and now skin! Got an amazing facial this morning in hopes of help,” she added with a praying emoji.
While Brittany hasn’t revealed if Taylor will get the honor of becoming her new daughter’s godmother, the pop superstar has plenty of experience in the role.
The “Karma” singer revealed she’s the godmother to close pal Blake Lively’s four children she shares with husband Ryan Reynolds in a hilarious July 25 Instagram Story praising the success of the actor’s movie, Deadpool and Wolverine.
“Shout out to [Ryan’s’ character] Wade Wilson, aka my godkids’ sperm donor!” Taylor joked, while calling the Canada native one of her “best friends.”
