As the 2024-2025 NFL season makes its return, that only means one thing: Taylor Swift is back rooting for her beau, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Ever since Taylor and Travis went public with their relationship last year, the "Cruel Summer" singer has spawned a new love for the sport among her devoted Swifties. In fact, Chiefs CEO, Clark Hunt, revealed that the pandemonium surrounding Taylor and Travis saw a 30% increase in fan base.
Thanks to the enormous popularity of the Kansas City team, Bravo announced that a brand-new reality series was in the works. The series will be based on the wives and girlfriends aka WAGS of the Kansas City Chiefs. However, Swifties may be heartbroken to know that the singer will not be a main cast member on the new show.
Here's What We Know About The Brand-New Bravo Series Starring The Kansas City Chiefs WAGS
Reality TV viewers are familiar with shows based on the wives and girlfriends of athletes, better known as WAGS. In 2015, the E! Network debuted the reality show WAGS, which focused on both the professional and personal lives of women who were married and or dated sports stars. Airing for three seasons, some of the most notable women in the series included Natalie Halcro, Olivia Pierson, and Nicole Williams, who are regularly seen hanging out with the Kardashian/Jenner family.

In September, a source confirmed to People that Bravo would be airing its own reality show based on the WAGS of the Kansas City Chiefs. The NFL team has become increasingly popular thanks to Taylor Swift's romance with tight end Travis Kelce, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes' marriage to his wife, Brittany Mahomes. Since Taylor's relationship with Travis has become public, she has been seen sitting alongside Brittany, who has been one of the singer's latest BFFs, at Arrowhead Stadium's VIP box. Taylor was also present when the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII. Cameras captured her sharing a kiss with Travis on the field after their victorious win.
The brand-new reality series is in its early stages as the source for People shared that it is currently in development.
According to the source, a pilot for the series was already filmed during the NFL off-season. The source also noted that the NFL players of the WAGS "made very minor appearances." This might mean that the show will be more centered around how these women come together and deal with their husbands or partners constantly traveling and being away from their families during the NFL season. It can also potentially focus on each woman's professional lives, as we've seen in E!'s WAGS.
Will Taylor Swift Star In Bravo's New Reality TV Series?
The answer is sadly, no. A source for People confirmed that Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes will not star in the new Bravo show. "Taylor and Brittany are not part of the show at all and will not even be filmed." The source added, "Taylor especially is very protective of what little private life she has left. She enjoys all the ladies she's met, but she will not be a part of Bravo's storyline."
While this news might be devastating for Swiftie's to hear, Taylor's life is already very much in the public eye 24/7. On top of that, the singer is extremely busy with the last leg of her Eras Tour. The tour ends in the U.S. in Indiana in November before she heads to Canada, in which her final tour date is scheduled to be December 8.

As the People article noted, the cast list is still in the works. However, two WAGS that are said to star in the new series include Chariah Gordon, the fiancée of Mecole Hardman Jr., and Sheawna Weathersby, who shares two kids with Chris Jones.
Both Chariah and Sheawna have become close to Taylor as the women have attended numerous Chiefs games together. In a September Instagram post, Chariah shared photos hanging out with both Sheawna and the songstress while sitting in the stadium's VIP area. In a more recent Instagram post, Chariah poses with other WAGS and Taylor when the team faced off against the New Orleans Saints. In addition, Sheawna also shared photos posing with the "Fortnight" singer on her Instagram.

Other WAGS that come to mind that may potentially make appearances in the new series include Lyndsay Bell, the wife of tight end Blake Bell. Lyndsay was spotted side-by-side with both Taylor and Brittany during Chiefs games last year. She also attended a girls' dinner with Taylor in New York City in November 2023, which also included Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Sophie Turner.
Other potential wives that may make their reality TV debut include Justin Reid's girlfriend Marissa Rand, Justin Watson's wife Erica Watson, and running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire's wife, JoJo Edwards-Helaire.
The show may even showcase both Chariah and Sheawna hanging out with WAGS from other NFL teams as they can all relate to being married or dating an athlete.
