“She’d just snap her finger and vaporize Wonder Woman”: Elizabeth Olsen vs Gal Gadot’s Superhero Debate is Insane, Can Wonder Woman Survive Chaos Magic?

Hypothetical competitions between two superheroes are the Internet’s favorite pastime, and this week, it is Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman. Two of the most powerful beings in their respective universes can cause plenty of damage to each other and the world around them.

While Wonder Woman is an Amazonian goddess and is extremely powerful, Scarlet Witch is not far behind with her Chaos Magic. Olsen’s superhero has taken on multiple powerful baddies in the MCU and is sure to give a tough fight to Wonder Woman. Some fans even believe that she would win.

Debates regarding superhero battles have been a fun topic of conversation among fans. Superman vs Goku, Captain Marvel vs. Superman, Batman vs. Iron Man, and more have been popular debates that have been going on for decades without a definitive answer. Batman’s battles are especially so, as he is capable of taking anyone with prep time.

The latest hot debate in the DC and Marvel fandom is a battle between Scarlet Witch and Wonder Woman. Elizabeth Olsen and Gal Gadot’s portrayals have made them some of the most popular superheroes at the moment. While Black Widow was the most known female superhero in the MCU, Scarlet Witch seems to have taken the top spot.

Many fans believe that Wonder Woman would bite the dust as she would not match for Scarlet Witch’s Chaos Magic. While Olsen’s superhero is extremely powerful, her powers are also dangerous to herself. Wonder Woman on the other hand excels in combat and is able to shield herself through various weapons.

Scarlet would win, she’d just snap her fingers and vaporize WW.

However if WW gets a clean hit then it’s curtains as she’s literally a god.

Wonder Woman if hand to hand combat don’t know if Wonder Woman could withstand scarlet witch magic chaos

While the Scarlet Witch does indeed have phenomenal powers and can manifest the darkest of magic, Wonder Woman is a literal goddess. The playing field seems to be level and who would win in an actual battle is anyone’s guess.

Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch Had A Different Character Arc In Doctor Strange 2

While Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch was only introduced in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, she became an integral part of the MCU, appearing in films like Captain America: Civil War and other Avengers films. She also received her own Disney Plus series, WandaVision, which explored her grief after the death of Vision.

However, her antagonistic turn in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness did not sit well with many fans, who saw a whole season’s worth of character development being squandered for theatrical moments. According to popular scooper, It’s My Time To Shine Hello, Olsen’s character was supposed to be different.

Olsen also admitted that the makers did not really know what to do with Scarlet Witch for a while and that she would return if Marvel figured out how to use her well (via Collider).

Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness is available for streaming on Disney+.
