Kelley Wolf Speaks Out Amid Divorce Drama, Claims Malnourishment and Distress

Kelley Wolf, 48, has opened up on Instagram about her struggles amid the ongoing turmoil surrounding her divorce from actor Scott Wolf, 57. On September 15, she shared a heartfelt message calling for understanding and peace, just days after being charged with allegedly violating a protective order that limits her contact with Scott and their three children.

Seeking Respect and Compassion

“I am going to be very clear,” Kelley wrote. “I need to be respected and given peace.” She emphasized that she is “not crazy” and “not in rehab,” and confirmed she is currently in her hometown awaiting an upcoming court hearing.

Kelley described her situation in raw terms, stating, “I have lost everything. I am malnourished. Treated like a crazy woman and I would appreciate someone saying… I love you. Welcome home. You did nothing but fight for your family.” She also stressed, “I have no record, do not abuse drugs or alcohol,” highlighting her desire to be seen fairly amid public scrutiny.

Protective Order Allegations

Court documents obtained by Us Weekly on September 12 reveal that Kelley Wolf has been charged with a misdemeanor for allegedly violating a protective order. The order forbids her from having direct or indirect contact with Scott Wolf and their children: Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11. The documents claim that Kelley attempted to reach one of her sons using a friend’s phone.

In a statement to People, Kelley expressed shock at the situation, saying, “It has become almost intolerable to my physical body, my family’s health and well-being. I have [allegedly] been compliant with everything legal, I have said nothing disparaging about anyone at any time.” She added that divorce proceedings can be lengthy, and criticized those who pressure mothers fighting for their children.

Scott Wolf’s Contempt Filing

The divorce between Scott and Kelley Wolf has grown increasingly contentious. In August, Scott filed to have Kelley held in contempt for allegedly attempting to enter their home improperly, just days before she entered rehab. He also addressed her prior claims, labeling them “deeply disturbing and entirely false” and shared text messages to demonstrate what he described as her plan to make allegations for advantage in court.

Scott filed for divorce in June after 21 years of marriage. Following the filing, Kelley was briefly detained by police due to concerning comments she made, although she later reported plans to enter a rehabilitation facility on September 12, a decision she said was encouraged by both Scott and his attorney.

Rehabilitation and Legal Restrictions

Kelley shared her anticipation for rehab, noting, “I am excited to go to [the treatment center]. I’m looking forward to it. My brother is taking me. It’s fantastic. It’s a great place. I recommended it all the time as a mental health professional myself, so September 12, I will be there for a month. I hope that helps.”

Despite her plans, Kelley reportedly left rehab early. She and Scott attended a court hearing on September 10 regarding his protective order request. The judge maintained the temporary order’s terms, which were initially sought after Kelley’s arrest for sharing Scott’s cell phone number online.

Charges and Court Orders

Kelley spent two nights in Summit County Jail after posting a $5,000 bond. She faces charges including electronic disclosure of personal identifying information and electronic communication harassment. Upon release, the court ordered her not to drink or use drugs and required her to seek inpatient or outpatient medical treatment. The order also barred her from contacting Scott or any witnesses connected to the case.

Kelley Wolf’s situation highlights the intense personal and legal challenges that can arise during high-profile divorces. Her recent posts and statements underscore a plea for compassion, as she navigates both public scrutiny and the complexities of the court system.
