Salma Hayek Thanks Husband François-Henri Pinault for ‘Endless Love and Laughter’ on His Birthday: ‘My King’

Salma Hayek Pinault is celebrating her husband!

Salma, 57, took to Instagram on Tuesday, May 28 to wish François-Henri Pinault, whom she has been married to since 2009, a happy 62nd birthday while sharing a number of photos of the couple on the red carpet over the years.

"God bless the day you were born mi amor. Thank you for the endless love and laughter you bring me each day Happy birthday my king 👑," the actress wrote in her caption, before adding the same sentiment in Spanish: "Dios bendiga el día en que naciste, mi amor. Gracias por el amor y la risa interminables que me brindas cada día. Feliz cumpleaños, mi rey 👑."

Salma and her husband began dating in 2006 and welcomed their daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault, 16, in September 2007. In 2009, the Frida actress and François-Henri tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Paris on Valentine's Day and later held a star-studded wedding in Venice, Italy, at which their daughter served as a flower girl. The couple also made a point of renewing their vows in August 2018 in Bora Bora.

In addition to daughter Valentina, Salma is also a stepmother to François-Henri's children from a previous marriage; he shares a daughter, Mathilde and two sons, François and Augustin James, with his ex Linda Evangelista.

On Valentine's Day in February, Salma shared an adorable black and white photo of herself with her husband as she posted a tribute to their marriage and celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. "After 18 years together and 15 years of marriage, you still make loving you easy, fun, deep and fresh like a gentle breeze. Happy anniversary mi amor ❤️," she wrote in a caption at the time.

In April, Salma shared several throwback images from the couple's 2009 wedding on Instagram and reflected on meeting her match in the French businessman. "There are no words to explain the blessing of finding your soulmate," she wrote in a caption to that post. "For all of you who found it, never take it for granted For all of you who haven’t, never give up #tbt to one of the best days of my life."

Salma last appeared on the big screen in 2023's Magic Mike's Last Dance, as well as in one episode of Black Mirror's sixth season. According to her IMDb page, the actress has two upcoming film projects in the works.
