Salma Hayek has brought her radiant feminine energy to the 2025 Golden Globes.
The actor and philanthropist walked the red carpet at Hollywood’s Beverly Hilton hotel wearing a plunging burgundy dress by Gucci which featured a sequinned bodice and asymmetric train.
She upped the ante with her jewellery, which included layers and layers of green Colombian emeralds from Lorraine Schwartz jewellery (over 300 carats), including a gemstone necklace with matching earrings and a cocktail ring. She paired the look with a wash of bright-green eyeshadow to tie the look together.

She wore her hair in a wavy half-up, half-down style—letting tendrils of natural grey shine through.

“So excited to share that I’ll be presenting at this year’s @goldenglobes” the House of Gucci star wrote in an Instagram post ahead of the ceremony.
The award show may be Hayek’s first red carpet of the year, but her look is reminiscent of several gala-worthy gowns she wore in 2024. Just recall the sequined burgundy Gucci gown she wore to the Toronto International Film Festival, or the strapless red dress she slipped into to accept WSJ Magazine’s Innovator Award for Entertainment & Altruism, or the sequin-covered little black dress she debuted at her Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women dinner.
Hayek is not nominated for any awards at this year’s ceremony, but she is joining a lengthy and star-studded list of presenters. These include Andrew Garfield, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ariana DeBose, Catherine O’Hara, Colin Farrell, Colman Domingo, Demi Moore, Elton John, Jeff Goldblum, Jennifer Coolidge, Kate Hudson, Kerry Washington, Margaret Qualley, and Zoë Kravitz, among many others.
