Salma Hayek has been beating the drum for chicly embracing your gray hairs for some time now, amid all her other duties and diary dates. At the 2025 Golden Globes, she took up the presenter mantle for the evening—but first, she walked the red carpet in a deep, shimmering red sequin dress and let her salt and pepper hair shine.

The House of Gucci actor and philanthropist wore her hair in a softly waved half-up, half-down look, with wisps of gray rising from her temples and interwoven into her raven black hair. Having her hair pulled back from her face showed off the silver gradient.
Hayek kept her color palette deep and sumptuous: a dark cat eye with emerald green eyeshadow, full eyebrows, and a nude lip. Her eyeshadow matched the over 300 carats of Colombian emeralds she wore by Lorraine Schwartz: a gem necklace, earrings, and a cocktail ring. She also wore a sequinned, burgundy Gucci dress with a plunging neckline and sequin train.
It was a big night for beauty at the 2025 Golden Globes: Ariana Grande experimented with a floating cut crease and true ’60s Hollywood glam, while Elle and Dakota Fanning donned matching red lips. Emma Stone also dropped her latest hair transformation, a Rosemary’s Baby-esque pixie cut.
