A quick glance at Salma Hayek’s Instagram proves that the actor loves nothing more than a swim, whether that’s in her pool, off a yacht, or in the ocean. But just as Hayek kicked off bikini season with a seaside photo dump, she seems to be bringing the summer to a close by packing up her beach bag.
In a new Instagram post—which appears to be shot poolside—Hayek can be seen stylishly embracing the late summer weather in a gingham set. Up top, she layered a white tank top underneath a brown-and-white checkered blouse, which boasted puffy sleeves and ruching at its hems. She left the shirt unbuttoned to better show off her outfit, including coordinating gingham shorts.
Accessory-wise, the House of Gucci star wore a small beaded necklace, a long gold chain pendant, and a pair of dangling red-and-gold earrings that resembled fish. She kept cool with a tan rattan hat, as well as large, square-shaped shades. On foot, she wore a pair of dark brown suede thong sandals.
And, showing off her favorite brand, she sat next to a large Gucci tote bag. Emblazoned with the brand’s name, as well as a call out to the Spanish island of Ibiza, the ivory bag seemed to imply Hayek was vacationing near a body of water—whether that be a beach or a pool. Perhaps she’s saved one last bikini photo for summer after all.
The actor described her now-signature bikini posts as “liberating” in a 2021 interview with Entertainment Tonight. “I had to lose a lot of weight and exercise to get into the bikini towards the end of last year,” she said at the time. “I’m glad I took a lot of pictures, I have no shame on it, because it was the first week of the vacation.” Now, it seems Hayek doesn’t need an excuse—just a place to swim.
