Salma Hayek Embraced Her Gray Hair at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards

The 2025 Golden Globe Awards saw Hollywood's A-list actresses stepping out in some daring—and stunning—beauty looks. For instance, Nicole Kidman paired her backless dress with a larger than life bouffant hairstyle, Michelle Yeoh debuted bangs while Pamela Anderson almost cut her own bangs for the event, and Zendaya opted for '50s glam pin curls. Salma Hayek also had her own special moment during the night, thanks to her letting her natural beauty shine through.

For the event, Hayek looked stunning in a burgundy column gown with a sequined bust by Gucci that she wore with over 300 carats of Colombian emeralds from Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. She completed the vampy look with dramatic, smoky green eyeshadow that flared out away from her eyes and towards her temples, and kept her lips simple with a pink hue.

The 58-year-old wore her hair styled in a half-up look, with a few tendrils left out to frame her face. With the hair gathered high, Hayek showed off a few gray hairs that sprouted at her temples and sides of her head.

Although her grays made a rare red carpet appearance last night, this isn't the first time Hayek has shown off her natural color. Hayek once called her silver strands "the white hair of wisdom" in a September 2020 Instagram post. In 2023, she showed off her grays again, with a cheeky tip given to her followers: "Here is a tip to cover your white hair without dyeing it," she explained, captioning a two-part carousel selfie of her wearing sunglasses, and wearing her hair down in the following photo. "Don't wear your glasses on your hair!!! Bring on the wisdom."
