Salma Hayek, 57, proves she’s an AGELESS bombshell as she wows in glitzy green gown on red carpet at 2023 Baby2Baby Gala in LA… where she’s honored for her activism and philanthropy

The non-profit Baby2Baby held its star-studded gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, where Academy Award-winner Salma Hayek was honored for her philanthropy and activism.

She is the recipient of this year's Giving Tree Award, which is given to a public figure who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to improving the lives of children in need around the world. 

Ahead of the award presentation, the A-list actress looked sensational in a glitzy green gown that hugged her famous curves in all the right ways.

Now a veteran of red carpet events, Hayek worked all the different angles for photographers, while showcasing the fitted full-length number.

Rounding out her overall look, the Oscar-nominated actress got a boost in height by wearing black platform heels.

She wore her raven locks in an effortless half up, half down style with pieces left out to frame her stunning face.

Later, during the ceremony, the Frida actress was honored with the prestigious Giving Tree Award.

Past recipients include Amy Adams, Jessica Alba, Drew Barrymore, Vanessa Bryant, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, Kim Kardashian, Gwyneth Paltrow, Chrissy Teigen and Kerry Washington. 

'I am so honored to be receiving the Giving Tree Award from Baby2Baby,' Hayek, 57, said in a statement obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.

She continued, 'My 39 years of involvement in supporting the well-being of women and children give me a deep appreciation and admiration for their heartfelt commitment and efficiency to get the job done. I am very proud to share their mission and am eager to keep learning from these remarkable women.'

The Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico native has long been a supporter of rights for women, children and immigrants, which includes lobbying Congress to extend the Violence Against Women Act, and then co-founding The Kering Foundation.

The non-profit leads initiatives aimed at liberating women around the world from sexual, physical and emotional abuse. 

The Hollywood leading lady later partnered with Gucci to create Chime For Change, a program advancing education, health and justice of girls, and has previously worked with those in need in Syria and Mexico. 

'From her commitment to combating social injustices and disaster relief efforts to her work supporting refugee children, Salma exemplifies everything that this award represents,' said Baby2Baby co-CEOs Norah Weinstein and Kelly Sawyer Patricof.

They added, 'We applaud how she has used her platform to increase resources and opportunities for women and girls, and we are thrilled to highlight her extraordinary commitment to these causes.' 

Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg served as the headliner in the entertainment department for the event.

Some of the other high-profile people on hand to lend their support included Chrissy Teigen, Lauren Ireland, Demi Lovato, Lucy Hale, Zooey Deschanel, Katharine McPhee, Vanessa Bryant, Christine Ko, Steve Kazee, Jenna Dewan, Jesse Plemons, Kirsten Dunst, Julia Chan, Nikki Reed, Eloise Broady DeJoria, John Paul DeJoria, Camila Alves McConaughey, Monique Rodriguez, Melvin Rodriguez, Olivia Wilde, Nicole Richie, Sofia Richie, Rachel Zoe, Colton Underwood, Joel Madden, Molly Sims, Emma Grede, Sarah Hyland, and Julie Bowen, among others.

In honor of the Gin & Juice star's performance, Baby2Baby pledged to provide nearly 300,000 essential items to support the children in the Snoop Youth Football and Basketball Leagues and Snoop Special Stars, both of which provide the opportunity for thousands of inner-city children across Los Angeles to participate in youth football, youth basketball and cheerleading.

Baby2Baby is a non-profit organization that provides diapers, clothes and other necessities for underprivileged children in poverty in the Los Angeles area and in disaster areas across the country.

Led by Co-CEOs Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein, Baby2Baby provides essential items to more than one million children across the country in homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, foster care, hospitals and underserved schools as well as to children who have lost everything in the wake of disaster.

At last count, the non-profit has distributed more than 150 million diapers and more than 350 million critical basic items to children living in poverty in the last 12 years

The Baby2Baby organization now has the distinction of offering its programs to serve children in need in all 50 states, according to its website.
