After playing on-screen sisters in FRIENDS, it looks like Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston have left those days behind. In fact, now it seems as though their long-term friendship has turned into an embodiment of their characters from The Morning Show, Bradley Jackson and Alex Levy. Although they had already run into a few troubles recently, a source told Life&Style magazine how the younger star was feeling about her close friend’s struggles with love.
Reese spends a lot of time with Jen and knows firsthand the sort of rut she’s in, whether she wants to admit it or not. A lot of people assume that Jen is just biding her time, but as far as Reese is concerned, she’s gone past the point of being picky.
After all, Aniston has not been in a public or serious relationship since her divorce from Justin Theroux in 2018. Although that might just be due to her focusing on herself, Witherspoon is not so sure. In fact, the insider also ended up claiming, “She’s convinced she’s in a state of paralysis when it comes to her dating life.”
Witherspoon’s concerns may be coming from a loving place. However, that hasn’t changed the fact that Aniston has been feeling as though the actress has left her behind after finding love again.

In 2000, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon shared the spotlight for the first time in FRIENDS. With the 48-year-old guest-starring in two episodes of the sixth season, the two actresses jumped into a quick friendship. Although they managed to keep the close-knit bond going for all these years, there were recently some problems that arose between the two. A source ended up sharing to Life&Style magazine that their friendship had hit a rough spot.
When Reese got divorced, she was really lonely and Jen went out of her way to include her in her life. She was totally there for her and felt they’d become true friends.
Aniston had gone above and beyond to include Witherspoon in one of her darkest times. However, the 48-year-old star seemed to forget all about her after meeting Oliver Haarmann. The insider added, “Now that Reese isn’t single, she’s acting like she no longer has any use for Jen, it’s very hurtful and has her nose out of joint.“
Although Witherspoon does not see it the same way, it looks like she has her own concerns regarding Aniston’s lack of luck in love. But with both stars once being as close as family, this rough spot in their friendship has wound up putting some strain on both women.
