One of Wonder Woman's most regularly fan-cast actors stars in a stunning piece of fan art that advocates for her DCU casting. Following the DCEU's abrupt conclusion and the launch of James Gunn's DCU, Wonder Woman 3 was canceled, and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman portrayal was left behind with the former DC franchise. Now, James Gunn's DCU is establishing the DCU Trinity, starting with David Corenswet's Superman, The Brave and the Bold's yet-to-be-cast Batman, and Wonder Woman — the latter of which hasn't received a DCU project of her own besides Themyscira's Paradise Lost prequel, which is part of the DCU's first chapter.
Artist Felipe Illa shows what actor Adria Arjona could look like as the DCU's Wonder Woman in a fan-made concept image. Illa's image depicts Arjona wearing Wonder Woman's classic costume, with white-starred, blue shorts instead of an armored skirt. This version of Wonder Woman also has shorter boots than Gal Gadot's, and her headpiece sports the hero's classic red star in the center. Check out the image below:

There Are No Clues About What DC Studios Is Looking For In The DCU's Wonder Woman Yet
The DCU's casting announcements have been pretty unexpected so far. David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan were confirmed to be playing Superman and Lois Lane shortly after the shortlist for those roles was reported. On the other hand, Lanterns' two leading stars were confirmed long before the show's release. Despite the character's popularity and her relevance to the franchise, it's unknown when the DCU's Wonder Woman actor will be announced, hence why actors as different as Adria Arjona, Katy O'Brian, Alexandra Daddario, and Ana de Armas have been put forward as candidates by fans.
Our Take On The Adria Arjona Wonder Woman Fan Art
Wonder Woman's Iconic Armor Has Many Possible Variations
Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman armor was probably one of the least divisive costumes in the DCEU, as it modernized the hero's classic costume without the need for any overdesigned elements. Considering how James Gunn's Superman put the red trunks back on Superman's costume, there's a possibility that the DCU's Wonder Woman will wear star-spangled shorts and a more minimalistic tiara. Similarly, the DCU's Batman could wear trunks over his pants, plus a simple gray-and-black or gray-and-blue costume and white lenses. It all depends on how good their respective actors look in the costumes.
Wonder Woman's cameo in Creature Commandos episode 4 shows her wearing her classic costume. But just like Batman's cameo in Creature Commandos episode 6, Wonder Woman's blink-and-you-miss-it appearance may not be her definitive look. Diana Prince's official live-action DCU debut may give her a completely different costume. Until then, rumors about Wonder Woman's possible actor will probably continue to rise.
