It’s been two months since Jennifer Aniston was seen exiting a plastic surgeon’s office in Connecticut with her friend Sandra Bullock. Recently, the Morning Show actress turned heads at the Emmy FYC event in Los Angeles, dressed in a chic burgundy midi dress from Reformation. However, amidst the fan admiration and praise for her ensemble online, some viewers noticed that something seemed “off” or “different” about her overall look.
A Plastic Surgeon’s Insight
It does look less full than in previous photos, particularly in the cheeks area,
said Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Carl Truesdale in an interview with InTouch. He mentioned that Aniston is showing more laxity in her face, which could indicate that some of her fillers have dissolved.A sign of dissolved filler is seeing more volume loss than what one would expect for normal facial aging or weight loss,
Truesdale noted.
Puffiness and Puffiness Explained
The expert suggested that any puffiness fans might have observed around Jennifer’s eyes could be associated with filler migration or obstructed lymphatics which does not allow fluid to leave the under-eye area. He added that this might lead to an overall puffy look often referred to as ‘filler fatigue.’ Dr. Truesdale also elaborated that Aniston’s recent appearance could be due to bone loss around the orbit, common for her age.
Aniston’s Stance on Plastic Surgery
Aniston hasn’t directly addressed these recent cosmetic surgery speculations. However, she has previously discussed similar topics. In 2018, a representative revealed that she corrected a deviated septum to help sleep better with rhinoplasty. Back in 2007, Aniston told People Magazine:
I had [a deviated septum] fixed – best thing I ever did. I slept like a baby for the first time in years.
Tackling Rumors
The actress shot down rumors regarding breast augmentation or other cosmetic procedures years ago.
No boob job! You know what it’s called? It’s called 10 pounds,
she quipped in a 2006 interview when asked if she’d undergone any such procedures.
Aging Gracefully?
Aniston has been vocal about the pressure in Hollywood to stay ageless. In a 2014 interview with Harper’s Bazaar Australia, she commented:
I am grateful to learn from their mistakes because I am not injecting s**t into my face.
Aging Views
The Emmy winner expressed sympathy for women trying to stop the aging process:
I see them and my heart breaks. I think: ‘Oh god, if you only knew how much older you look.’ They are trying to stop the clock, and all you can see is an insecure person who won’t let themselves just age.
