Megan Fox and Alfie Allen are cool L.A. vampires in the new trailer for Night Teeth. The Netflix thriller is the second feature film for Adam Randall, who made his debut with 2019’s I See You starring Helen Hunt and Owen Teague.
Randall’s second feature Night Teeth sees him heading to Los Angeles for a vampire thriller with a decidedly teen-friendly bent. The movie stars Jorge Lendeborg Jr. (Bumblebee) as a college student making money as a driver who picks up two female passengers, played by Debby Ryan (Horse Girl) and Lucy Fry (Bright), who are definitely not what they seem to be. Lendeborg Jr. soon finds himself fighting for his life when his party-hopping passengers reveal their true nature (they’re vampires). The movie also stars Sydney Sweeney (Once Upon a Time In Hollywood), Raúl Castillo (Army of the Dead), Alexander Ludwig (The Hunger Games), Bryan Batt (Mad Men) and Marlene Forte (Knives Out).

Netflix has now released a trailer for Night Teeth that teases the movie’s sexy and neon-lit vampire action. Game of Thrones star Allen and Transformers star Fox both show up briefly in the clip, which mainly focuses on Lendeborg Jr. and the two female vampires he unwittingly picks up. See the trailer in the space below:
Fox of course is no stranger to horror having starred in the cult classic Jennifer’s Body and more recently the Gerald’s Game knockoff Till Death. Allen meanwhile suffered through plenty of horror playing Theon Greyjoy aka Reek on Game of Thrones, but has not done a lot of actual horror movies in his career. Though Fox and Allen are clearly the two biggest names in Night Teeth, it’s obvious from the trailer that neither of them has a very big part in the movie. Indeed Fox barely shows up in the trailer, making it evident that she is in the movie more for her name value than her actual on-screen contribution.
Setting a vampire movie in the L.A. party scene sounds like an OK jumping off point on paper but it remains to be seen if Night Teeth indeed has any bite. The trailer teases that there’s a pretty extensive vampire underworld lurking beneath the movie’s cool Los Angeles exterior, and it might be interesting to see the story explore that idea. A lot of course depends on Lendeborg Jr. as the main character, as he finds himself being dragged into this world of bloodsucking vampire party-animals. Night Teeth is set to be released on Netflix on October 20, 2021, or just in time for Halloween.
