Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox’s recent split was reportedly in no way tied to the actress’ pregnancy, but rather the result of some deep-seeded relationship issues.
“MGK’s very flirtatious, and overly so sometimes, and with people who DM him,” a source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly, claiming that Kelly, 34, has a reputation for having a wandering eye.
The singer’s flirtatious ways reportedly make Fox, who is pregnant with the couple’s first baby, uneasy, per the insider. “Megan has suspected he may be sleeping with someone,” the source adds, noting that Kelly has been “denying it.”
Us previously confirmed that Kelly and Fox, 38, broke up in late November, just weeks after the Transformers actress announced she’s expecting.
Kelly and Fox began dating in 2020 after meeting on the set of their 2021 film Midnight in the Switchgrass.
The pair went public with their romance after Fox’s ex-husband, Brian Austin Green, confirmed in May 2020 that they were getting divorced. (Green, 51, and Fox share three sons: Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8.)
Kelly (real name Colson Baker) proposed in January 2022, but before they could make it down the aisle the duo broke up and got back together several times.
In November 2023, Fox revealed during a Good Morning America interview that she suffered a pregnancy loss, which added stress to her and Kelly’s relationship.
“I had never been through anything like that before in my life,” she explained at the time. “I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately and together and apart … trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’” (Kelly shares daughter Casie, 15, with ex Emma Cannon.)
The pair did find their way back together again and in November Fox showed off her growing baby bump while revealing their happy news. “Nothing is ever really lost,” she captioned the pregnancy reveal via Instagram. “Welcome back 👼🏼❤️.”
Despite their ups and downs, the source tells Us that Fox’s pregnancy did bring them closer together in recent months.
However, Fox and Kelly’s “relationship is so full of passion,” the insider says, that “it leads them to fight in the most toxic of ways.”
The insider notes that anything can happen between the pair as they await their little one’s arrival. “They could be back together in a week,” the source adds. “They’re very unpredictable.”
