Filipina actress Lovi Poe was all smiles as she met Hollywood icons Jennifer Aniston and Selena Gomez at an exclusive beauty event in Los Angeles, California.
The actress and singer took to Instagram on Feb. 5 to share her excitement, posting a selfie with Aniston and referencing her deep love for the classic sitcom “Friends.”
“The one when Rachel meets ‘Denise Phoebe’s roommate.’ Just goes to show how obsessed I am with FRIENDS.” Lovi wrote, playfully linking herself to the show’s universe.
“You can just imagine my happiness meeting @jenniferaniston. But now I’m just as obsessed with @lolavie hair products. I swear by it! Keeps my mane smooth and tame. Really hope this becomes available in Manila too! You’ll love it.”
Lovi attended the event celebrating Aniston’s award-winning haircare brand, “LolaVie,” where the “Friends” star teamed up with the “Who Says” singer and founder of “Rare Beauty” for a special Galentine’s Day celebration.
The two powerhouse women combined their brands in a venue dedicated to uplifting women and fostering friendship.
In a separate post, Lovie shared, “Had the best time at the Lolavie x Rare Beauty Galentines with @jenniferaniston and @selenagomez—proving that friends who stay together, slay together! @lolavie @rarebeauty. 𝐂𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟… I’m obsessed with the merch and products…they’re so good (and coincidentally, my fave Selena song too!) Selena’s message with Jen was pure magic—heartfelt, real, and full of love.”
In a now expired Instagram Story, Lovi further shared glimpses of the event, including a video clip of Aniston and Gomez addressing attendees.
“We just want to celebrate women and friendship, and how we just want to continue to uplift each other,” Gomez expressed. She additionally expressed how much she admired Aniston, mentioning that their friendship had lasted for over a decade. She shared how Jennifer had always been a supportive presence in her life, someone she could rely on and confide in during difficult times.
Aniston, visibly emotional, acknowledged the challenges many have faced in recent weeks, particularly in light of the California wildfires.
“It’s been a really hard couple of weeks,” she admitted. “But we’re here to celebrate women and support each other.”
The Galentine’s Day event also featured a screening of the 1995 cult classic “Clueless.”
