Filming intimate moments in movies can be pretty awkward, perhaps none more so than Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence's kissing scene in The Hunger Games.
The actor, who are good pals, locked lips in several scenes in the popular film series.
However, this was apparently super awkward, as Hemsworth explained on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in 2014.
"Any time I had to kiss Jennifer was pretty uncomfortable," he began.
"When you look at it on the outside it looks like a great picture. She’s one of my best friends. I love her."

"But if we had a kissing scene, she would make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish or something that was disgusting and right before the scene she’d be like ‘I didn’t brush my teeth’.
"I’d be like ‘great, I can’t wait to get in there and taste it’."
Lawrence has offered her side of the story on multiple occasions, opening up on the tuna-gate scandal.
In a 2014 interview with Nylon, the No Hard Feelings actor was asked about the validity of Hemsworth's claims.
She said: "I wouldn't say that … I would just kind of eat whatever I wanted; I think the onions that you were referring to was that I just had a sandwich with mustard and raw red onion."

Lawrence also addressed Hemsworth's kissing critic during her infamous appearance on First We Feast's YouTube series Hot Ones.
She said: "It was not intentional. It was just what I was eating and then we've kiss."
The actor then joked to host Sean Evans: "He should just get over it."
While Lawrence has been involved in countless movie scenes over the years, there is one that left her traumatized.
The scene, which features in the film Mother!, is one she tries to forget.
Speaking at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2017, Lawrence shared: "It was the scene where I woke up to a surprise, and ran downstairs… that was the worst feeling I’ve ever had in my life.
"It was awful, and I don’t know if I would ever do such a movie again."
In a later interview with Entertainment Weekly, Lawrence spoke about the backlash to the film, sharing that while she didn't 'regret' making it, there was no way she'd be able to do it again.

Jennifer Lawrence says it was ‘really really hard’ filming with Jonah Hill
Jennifer Lawrence has admitted that it was ‘really really hard’ filming with Jonah Hill for the Netflix hit Don’t Look Up.
The film first hit our screens in 2021 and follows two astronomers who must warn the world of an approaching comet that could destroy Earth – with many having found some unnerving real world similarities after it's release.
However, there were some parts that were pretty tough for Lawrence to get through.
The 33-year-old actor opened up about the process of filming the dark comedy, which she and Hill star in alongside the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Timothée Chalamet and Chris Evans.
Lawrence, who plays astronomer Kate Dibiasky in the flick, explained Hill’s character, Jason Orlean, is ‘the worst’ and it was really hard to not ‘ruin’ every take when filming with Hill.
In an February interview with Vanity Fair, Lawrence noted Hill’s character is not only the president’s son, but ‘also the Chief-of-Staff, which some might think is nepotism', VT reports.
Lawrence said: "It was really, really hard filming with Jonah, and just not ruining take after take, laughing. We one time dedicated an entire day to him just improv-ing insults at me.
"It was amazing."
The star revealed many of Hill’s lines were unscripted, and explained she thinks Hill and ‘Meryl were the only ones who should do that kind of improv,’ despite all the cast getting involved.
"I mean, he’s [Hill's] a master, he's a comedic master. I mean we all did some [improv] just not as well as Jonah," Lawrence added.
Netflix
One scene which didn't feature in the script shows Hill's character telling Lawrence and DiCaprio's to: "Sit tight and assess."
"The sit tight comes first then you've got to digest it, that's the assessment period," Hill says.
Lawrence reflects: "See? That wasn't in the script Jonah."
Directed by Adam McKay, the official synopsis reads: "Two astronomers go on a media tour to warn humankind of a planet-killing comet hurtling toward Earth.
"The response from a distracted world: Meh."
Netflix
When asked what she wants viewers to take away from the film, Lawrence resolved she thinks the movie is ‘a really fun, hilarious way to laugh at ourselves’.
However, the Hunger Games star explained the ‘biggest thing’ for viewers to take away is ‘to stop handling information the way that we do now, where there’s like the truth and science and then politics, or you know, personal feelings involved'.
Lawrence said: "You know, we should all just be on the same page of, you know, taking care of our planet, and taking care of mankind.
"World peace would be my hope."
Jennifer Lawrence ‘violently’ vomited at No Hard Feelings event after viral Hot Ones interview
Jennifer Lawrence has admitted she ‘violently’ vomited during the press junket for No Hard Feelings after her viral Hot Ones interview.
Lawrence, 32, is currently promoting raunchy comedy No Hard Feelings, which follows a cash-strapped woman called Maddie as she is hired by a pair of rich parents to date their 19-year-old son.
They enlist her to seduce their ‘unf**kable’ son Percy, in a bid to see he has sex before he heads off to college.

While doing press for the new movie, Lawrence was invited to appear on Hot Ones – an American YouTube talk show hosted by Sean Evans – who interviews celebrities as they attempt to work their way through rounds of increasingly spicy chicken wings.
While the star performed respectably during the segment, when she reached the wing covered in a hot sauce called Da Bomb Beyond Insanity, she soon reached for the water pitcher, fanning herself as tears began to stream.
“Nothing helps!” she said though pained laughter.
“I’m drooling so much. Is my face OK?”

But it turns out the reaction did not end when the cameras stopped rolling, as Lawrence revealed she was ‘violently’ sick later in the day.
Speaking to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, she said: “I passionately threw up after. Violently.
“I made it upstairs to my suite. My holding suite.”
Lawrence had been taking part in a number of press ops that day as part of the junket for No Hard Feelings.
“We shot at the Four Seasons downstairs,” she said, adding: “My stomach gave me, like, eight minutes to get upstairs and then she… She… [vomited].”
Bravo
While the premise of the film has been met with some criticism, Lawrence’s co-star Laura Benanti – who plays Percy’s mum – said the movie is actually a satire of helicopter parents.
“It’s a cautionary tale,” she told the Hollywood Reporter.
“If you are a helicopter parent who puts your child in such a bubble, they do not know how to exist outside of that bubble, you are going to make the exact opposite and insane choice, which is what they are doing here.
“I feel like it is a very satirical look at what can happen if you do not give your children a longer leash to figure things out for themselves. Otherwise, you’re going to end up curating their life forever.”
Her on-screen husband, Matthew Broderick, also said he guessed that this was what happened with parents like that 'when a kid goes off to school’.
“It’s so frightening that they’ll be happy and they’ll make friends and they’ll take care of themselves that some parents go to any length to make that transition work,” he said.
"And it’s a hard time. I’ve been through it. But you really have to let them make it on their own. But these parents decide to mess with nature.”
Jennifer Lawrence explains why she took acting hiatus before filming X-rated movie
The star revealed why she took a break from acting after 2019's Dark Phoenix
She is offered money to date a wealthy couple's 19-year-old son, who is also introverted and so has struggled with dating in the past. What follows is a raunchy comedy which sees Lawrence's character trying to bring the young man out of his shell.
The film also stars Andrew Barth Feldman, Laura Benanti, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Natalie Morales, Scott MacArthur, and Matthew Broderick.
The synopsis reads: "Maddie (Lawrence) thinks she's found the answer to her financial troubles when she discovers an intriguing job listing: wealthy helicopter parents looking for someone to 'date' their introverted 19-year-old son, Percy (Feldman), and bring him out of his shell before he leaves for college.
"But awkward Percy proves to be a real challenge, and time is running out. She has one summer to make him a man or lose it all."
Sony Pictures
No Hard Feelings was originally released in late June, though it's widened its reach recently thanks to a release on Netflix in the US.
The X-rated movie actually marked one of Lawrence's first films back after she decided to take a break from the screen following the release of 2019's Dark Phoenix.
The actor explained her reasoning behind her hiatus in an interview with Vanity Fair in 2021.
She said: "I was not pumping out the quality that I should have. I just think everybody had gotten sick of me. I'd gotten sick of me.
"It had just gotten to a point where I couldn't do anything right. If I walked a red carpet, it was, 'Why didn't she run?'"

The actor added: "I think that I was people-pleasing for the majority of my life.
"Working made me feel like nobody could be mad at me: 'Okay, I said yes, we're doing it. Nobody's mad.'
"And then I felt like I reached a point where people were not pleased just by my existence. So that kind of shook me out of thinking that work or your career can bring any kind of peace to your soul."
And it appears fans are enjoying seeing Lawrence back on their screens, with many praising the star for 'stealing' the show in No Hard feelings with one particular scene.
Jennifer Lawrence ‘stole’ the show in X-rated movie with just one scene
Jennifer Lawrence fans are praising the star for 'stealing' the show in No Hard feelings with one particular scene.
The X-rated movie sees Lawrence playing a woman who is financially hard up, and comes across an interesting opportunity.
She is offered money to date a wealthy couple's 19-year-old son, who is also introverted and so has struggled with dating in the past. What follows is a raunchy comedy which sees Lawrence's character trying to bring the man out of his shell.

No Hard Feelings originally released in late June, though it's widened its reach recently thanks to a release on Netflix in the US.
While the talk surrounding the movie is mostly around the, erm, nudity, many fans are praising one particular scene which actually has nothing X-rated in it.
Midway through the flick, Maddie and Percy agree to go on a date to make up for the proms they both skipped when back at high school.
As they are seated together in a posh restaurant, Maddie notices a piano in the centre of the dining room.
She quickly pressures Percy to go and play something for her. He decides to play a slowed-down version of Daryl Hall and John Oates’ 'Maneater', a song that Percy previously told Maddie used to scare him as a child.
When he returns to his seat after performing the track, a shocked Maddie tells him: "What the f***? That was unbelievable. How did you even know that song?”

And it's safe to say many on social media had a similar reaction to the scene, with many flocking to X (formerly known as Twitter) to give their reactions.
"maneater piano scene in no hard feelings 😫😩 >>> ," one person penned.
A second added: "You’ll probably hear a lot of chatter about THAT scene of Jennifer Lawrence on the beach, but THIS scene stole the movie for me. It’s pure cinema."
While a third remarked: "No Hard Feelings surprised the hell outta me. I loved it. And that piano cover of Maneater… perfect."
