Kylie Kelce is done with the awkward energy surrounding breastfeeding, and she’s using her platform to call it out.
On the July 10 episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, the 33-year-old mother of four opened up about her experience nursing in public and offered some straightforward, no-nonsense advice on how people should behave when they encounter a breastfeeding mother.
The conversation was sparked during her “Doomscroll of the Week” segment, where Kylie Kelce and her co-host discussed a viral TikTok showing a woman pumping milk when her father-in-law unexpectedly walked in.

Kylie quickly related to the situation, name-dropping both her and husband Jason Kelce’s fathers, coincidentally both named Ed, for their tendency to awkwardly vanish when nursing begins.
“Finn a little fussy? Does she need to eat? All of a sudden they disappear. It’s like a flash,” she joked.
Kylie and Jason welcomed their youngest daughter, Finnley, in March. The couple also share daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, and Bennett, 2.
“Now a lot of people don’t know how to act when a woman is breastfeeding anywhere in their vicinity,” Kylie continued. “But as a mom currently doing it, I’ve got you covered with your official tips.”
Her advice? Just act normal.
Kelce Says Public Breastfeeding Isn’t The Problem

“Continue doing exactly what you were doing before mom started feeding her baby,” she said. “This includes not saying any awkward sh-t or offering any unsolicited commentary. Feel free not to run away. Remain seated if you were previously.”
She added, “Not staring at her boobs or, even the opposite, blatantly staring up at the ceiling. Don’t do that. You’re making it weird. You’re being weird.”
That, she stressed, is the only tip needed.
As a mom of four, Kylie said she’s mastered the art of discreet nursing, even going so far as to say she’s never had a “nip slip” while breastfeeding, though that hasn’t stopped people from acting uncomfortable.

“On more than one occasion, someone will come in and I will be breastfeeding, completely covered, and someone will be like, ‘Oh I’m sorry,’” she said. “And I’m like, ‘I don’t know what we’re apologizing about. You actually haven’t seen my boobs.’”
Sarcastically, Kylie added, “It does help that I am a proud member of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee and it’s kind of hard to see a boob past a kid’s head anyway.”
Still, she made it clear that her decision to cover up is just that. Her decision. “I stay covered because that’s my choice. That’s my choice. It’s not every woman’s choice, and that’s OK.”
Kylie Claps Back At Critics Of Her Parenting Again

While Kylie isn’t afraid to speak candidly about breastfeeding in public, it’s not the only parenting topic she’s addressed head-on.
The mom of four has also opened up about the backlash she and Jason have received over their decision to give their daughters gender-neutral names, a topic that continues to spark debate among fans.
“I feel like we have to lean a little bit towards those sort of gender-neutral names for our fourth because we have Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett,” she said before giving birth to Finnley. “So if we do a full commit to a girly name at this point, it would not sit well with the other three, I think. Eventually, they’ll be like, ‘Why did they get a cute girly name?’ ”
“We had that situation with Wyatt, our oldest is Wyatt. People are disturbed by the fact that we’ve named her Wyatt,” Kylie shared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. “She’s very much a Wyatt. Anyone that meets her is like, ‘Oh, that’s a Wyatt.’”

The former field hockey star explained that she and Jason have always gravitated toward names that could go either way, like Elliotte, Bennett, and most recently, Finnley. She even joked that the unique choices might give her daughters an unexpected edge later in life.
“You know what? Her emails are going to be answered so fast,” she quipped. “Kiss my a–. Facts.”
For Kylie, parenting confidently, whether it’s naming a child Wyatt or nursing in public, isn’t about pleasing everyone. As she continues to share her honest experiences, it’s clear she’s doing things on her own terms.
