Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, are “not divorcing,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.
West, 47 and Censori, 29, have been married since December 2022 and, per the insider, have faced an array of “ups and downs recently.”
“They are working through it. Their relationship is definitely rocky,” the insider says. “Bianca knew what she was getting herself into when marrying Kanye, but, as months went on, the lifestyle took a toll on her.”
The source further claims that Censori, an architectural designer for West’s Yeezy brand, was “sick of traveling” around the world with her husband and wanted to remain in Los Angeles for longer durations.
“They have had many disagreements over Kanye having high expectations for her and the marriage,” the insider adds. “She had a change of heart and voiced that to him recently. It was not well-received by Kanye, but they are working through it. They are OK right now and there are no plans for divorce at this time.”
The rapper and Censori were first linked in late 2022 shortly after he finalized his divorce from ex-wife Kim Kardashian. (West and Kardashian, 43, split in 2021 after seven years of marriage and share four children.)
As West and Censori’s relationship heated up, Us confirmed in October 2023 that they secretly wed the previous December.
“Kanye and Bianca were legally married last year when they had their private ceremony in Beverly Hills, it was real and legal,” a second source told Us at the time, noting they tied the knot for “religious reasons.”
Since their wedding, Censori has accompanied West on his various global travels including Italy, France, Japan and more. She also took an active role in his kids’ lives. (West and Kardashian share daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 6, as well as sons Saint, 8, and Psalm, 5.)
“Happy birthday to the most beautiful super bad iconic muse,” West wrote via Instagram in January calling Censori an “inspirational [and] talented artist.” He added, “The most amazing stepmom to our children. I love you so much. Thank you for sharing your life with me.”
Kardashian is also aware of her children’s bonds with Censori.
“Kim knows that North has a happy relationship with Bianca and that’s all that matters to her,” a third source told Us in February. “What happens in their personal life is none of her business, just like she knows that Kanye doesn’t pry into her personal life either. They know that’s what is healthiest when it comes to their children’s lives, plus they share a lot of history together and will always be family.”
