Kaley Cuoco is mourning the loss of her beloved chihuahua Dump Truck, who sadly passed away earlier this week.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, The Big Bang Theory alum, 37 – who recently celebrated her first Mother's Day with daughter Matilda – penned an emotional tribute to the elderly chihuahua she adopted over the pandemic.
'"A dog is the only thing on earth, that loves you more than he loves himself," wrote Cuoco, quoting 19-century writer Josh Billings. 'My sweetest Dump Truck, saying goodbye to you has deeply pierced my soul.'
She added that the canine was with her during some of the hardest moments she has had in her life. 'You brought endless joy to everyone that met you, and kissed my nose when I needed it most,' she wrote.
'You were as special as it gets and I’m so grateful we found each-other. Please tell Norman I miss him every day and will cherish you both forever.'

'So so sorry you guys ❤️,' commented Taylor Lautner, while Mean Girls star Lacey Chabert wrote: 'I’m so sorry. Huge hugs to you guys.'
Cuoco is a passionate animal lover and an avid equestrian who has a small pack of rescue dogs in Malibu.
The Flight Attendant star fostered Dump Truck in 2020 and decided to make him a permanent part of her family when COVID hit.
Dump Truck's passing comes two months after Kaley and her partner Tom Pelphrey adopted another elderly chihuahua named Opal.
In March, the actress shared an image of herself cuddling Opal and wrote: 'Thank you @deityanimalresuce and an amazing foster @thisisdarragh for bringing this angel to us.'
She added: 'We did a thing … again. We welcome miss Opal (little widdle girl) into our growing family.'

But prior to finding happiness with boyfriend Pelphrey and their baby girl Matilda, The Meet Cute star was dealt a major blow in 2021 when her cherished sidekick Norman passed away.
The elderly dog's death left Kaley devastated by 'earth-shattering pain,' which she candidly wrote about in an Instagram tribute to Norman, captioning a pair of black-and-white photos.
The heartbroken star wrote: 'Earth shattering deep gut wrenching pain I didn’t know was possible. Norman, you were my entire world for 14 years. Thank you for smiling at me as you left this world, confirming for me once again our language was ours alone. You will always have my heart.'
