It seems that the love triangle of Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, and Jennifer Garner just got even messier. In Lopez’s controversial new documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, she goes in-depth on her and Affleck’s love story, and seemingly takes a jab at Garner in the process.
During the Amazon Prime documentary, Lopez revealed how Affleck kept all of their love letters and emails to one another while he was with Garner from 2004 to 2018.
“This book is a book Ben gave me on our first Christmas back together. It is every letter and every email that we wrote to each other from 20 years ago and today,” Lopez said, revealing that one note read “The Greatest Love Story Never Told by Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck 2001-2010…and counting…”
Okay, so we have questions. Keeping love letters from a past romance while you’re with a new one is already a controversial subject, with many dubbed it as emotional cheating while others don’t see it as a big deal. But many see this as a jab to Garner, especially since one letter reads “2001-2010…. And counting….”

By 2010, Garner and Affleck had two children already and were married for five years. So, what the heck was going on between him and Lopez, since they broke up in 2004?! It’s unclear what happened, but we do know they reconnected publicly as friends in 2015. But what about 2004-2010? Many have questions about this, but nearly every fan has seen it as a jab at Garner, who’s reportedly not a big fan of Lopez’s latest projects.
A source told Life & Style that some of the lyrics of Lopez’s new album are “tough to hear. Basically, this album is telling the world that the original Bennifer was meant to be. On one track, Ben even utters, ‘I love you, I always have,’ which Jen took as a bit of a slap in the face.”

For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck were together from 2002 to 2004 after meeting on the set of Gigli. They called off their wedding, and later their relationship in Jan 2004. They later rekindled their romance in 2021, and they tied the knot a year later.
