Lately, many insiders and sources have shed light on the alleged compromises Ben Affleck had to make in his marriage to Jennifer Lopez, such as being more public about their romance, social media, and more. Most recently, insiders claimed that Affleck had to make a big financial compromise when buying their Beverly Hills home.
For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck spent $60 million on a 12-bedroom, 24-bath home in Beverly Hills, but insiders claimed to InTouch that Affleck wanted to spend around $20 million only.
“Ben was thinking more along the lines of $20 million for the house. But Jen overruled him,” they said, adding that their luxuries are adding up, and stressing Affleck. “Their bills are through the roof. It’s all eating away at their bank accounts… The pressure to make money keeps intensifying.”

Instead of a $20 million home, they ended up taking out a $20 million mortgage. As we said, the home has 12 bedrooms, and 24 bathrooms, it has a 12-car garage, a basketball court, a gym, a sports lounge and bar, a two-bedroom guardhouse, a theater, a wine room, and more, per KTLA.
For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck were together from 2002 to 2004 after meeting on the set of Gigli. They called off their wedding, and later their relationship, with one aspect of their romance ending being the constant public attention. However, they rekindled their romance in 2021, and they tied the knot a year later.
