It's only been a week since Jennifer Lawrence announced that she was expecting her second child, but within such a short amount of time, it's become clear that her maternity style is all about comfort. Well, at least when it comes to her footwear.
After attending her first red carpet event since the pregnancy news in a pair of black ballet flats, J.Law chose yet another practical shoe while attending the Dodgers vs. Yankees World Series game with her art galleries husband, Cooke Maroney, in Los Angeles on Friday. For the occasion, the actress dressed down in a loose-fitting striped button-down that was left undone, revealing a white T-shirt and a pair of black pants underneath.

Disguising her baby bump, Lawrence held a black jacket in front of her stomach and accessorized with square-shaped sunglasses and a pair of black-and-white Puma Speedcats—the Y2k sneaker that's the latest "ugly shoe" to make a major comeback. And J.Law isn't the only one jumping on the Speedcat bandwagon. Emily Ratajowksi and Dua Lipa have been sporting their own pairs of the racing-style sneaker since spring.
Lawrence and Maroney's casual date night came just days after it was reported that the No Hard Feelings star is "thrilled to be pregnant again."

"She loves being a mom," a source previously told People. "She's thrilled to be pregnant again. It feels like the perfect timing to her. Her son will three when the new baby arrives."
