Jennifer Aniston is sharing her and BFF Courteney Cox's "love language."

As the LolaVie founder, 56, celebrates four years in business and the launch of her 12th product, the Powder Perfect Dry Shampoo, she's opening up to PEOPLE about how she spends chills out.

Of course, it includes spending quality time with BFF Courteney Cox, who is also a beauty entrepreneur. (Cox launched home care brand Homecourt in 2022, just over one year after Aniston introduced LolaVie.)

When it comes to what tips Aniston hits Cox up for most, it has little to do with beauty.

"We usually talk interior design," The Morning Show star tells PEOPLE. "It kind of bores people to tears when we get into a room together. But it's what we love. It's our love language."

The star adds, "What haven't I learned from Courtney?

Aniston, who threw a Galentine's Day celebration in February with another friend and beauty entrepreneur, Selena Gomez, says she's learned a thing or two from the Rare Beauty creator.

"Selena helps me lean into social media," Aniston says, adding, "And she's just an angel that I love to spend time with."

After a long day on set or with her LolaVie team, the actress, who's gearing up to star in and executive produce an adaptation of Jennette McCurdy's memoir I’m Glad My Mom Died, Aniston says she winds down by doing "nothing."

"I come home. I'm with my dogs. I'll put on music." Currently, she's listening to a mix of old and new artists, from Benson Boone and Alex Warren to Death Cab for Cutie and Radiohead.

She continues, "I'll talk to some friends on the phone, like people used to do. I like to just zone out to a great documentary, something that's going to be light on my heart and make me laugh. Maybe have friends over for dinner."

What Aniston tries not to do off hours is doomscroll on social media. "I try to stay away from the noise as much as possible," she tells PEOPLE. "Thankfully, my algorithm is animals, architecture, hair and spiritual affirmations. So it's not that doomy."

These days, whether she's hard at work or playing with her dogs Clyde and Lord Chesterfield, she's all about leaning into joy.

"I try to focus on the beautiful things that are happening in life and where can I contribute. There are certain things that are out of our control and out of our power, which is quite frustrating. So try not to dwell where you are handcuffed and can’t do anything. I love my work, I love my dogs, I love my friends, and I’m excited about creating new things," Aniston shares.

During this chat, Aniston is focused on her latest launch, a nonaerosol, talc-free formula that she says creates “fresh hair in seconds.” In addition to masking oil, it also adds, volume.

It's a multitasker, like the star, who believes, "We've got to find the beauty in life."
