Aniston shared a series of gushing posts about Witherspoon, including a clip of her appearing on Friends as Rachel’s sibling
Jennifer Aniston showered friend Reese Witherspoon with praise in a series of gushing posts as the actress celebrated her 47th birthday on Wednesday.
Aniston, 54, stars opposite Witherspoon as competing anchors on Apple TV’s The Morning Show, and gave tribute to her co-star on her birthday on Instagram Stories.
Aniston posted photos of herself with Witherspoon as she highlighted their multi-faceted relationship as “co-workers” and “sisters”.
She also shared a clip of Witherspoon on Friends, when the actress guest-starred as her character Rachel’s younger sister Jill.
Another video shared by Aniston showed Witherspoon behind-the-scenes on The Morning Show, as Aniston asked her to “be my Valentine”, with the caption added: “We love you!”
Aniston then wrote: “Happy birthday to this absolute ray of sunshine”.
Witherspoon acknowledged the birthday tribute posts from her co-star, along with others received, as she shared a series of photos of herself surrounded by pink roses on Instagram.
“Thank you for all my wonderful, loving, heartfelt birthday wishes,” Witherspoon wrote.
“Feeling very grateful for all the love in my life!”
The actress continued to receive birthday messages from her famous friends in the comment section.
Jurassic Park actress Bryce Dallas Howard wrote: “Happy Birthday you astonishing marvel of a human being”, adding a string of heart emojis.
Witherspoon’s Cruel Intentions co-star Selma Blair said: “Happy birthday wonderful and incredible you!!! Love”.
The TV and film star also received birthday praise from fellow actresses Julianne Moore and Zooey Deschanel.
