Red carpet icon Jennifer Aniston has arrived at the 2024 Emmys. Tonight, she's nominated for outstanding lead actress in a drama series for her role in The Morning Show—on the series she has portrayed fictional news anchor Alex Levy, who is inspired by Diane Sawyer, for four seasons now.
“Tonight was such a big night, and I wanted a look that felt effortlessly polished,” Aniston tells Vogue exclusively. “California sleek, if you will.”
Aniston donned a nude-and-pearl embellished column dress by Oscar de la Renta—and to match, only archival art-deco Tiffany & Co. jewels would do. Her nails were painted in the timeless soft pink-and-white French manicure style by manicurist Kim Truong.
Aniston's blowout looked similarly smooth and sleek, courtesy of longtime hairstylist Chris McMillan and her own brand, LolaVie,
“Before heat styling, we used the Perfecting Leave-In Conditioner to give my hair that smooth, shiny finish without weighing it down,” Aniston explains. “I can always count on this product to leave my hair looking its best.” The brand's Sculpting Paste and Lightweight Hair Oil were used to finish off the look. “The combo tames flyaways, fights frizz, and holds my hairstyle shape all night long,” Aniston says, "I can’t live without it.”
While being interviewed on the red carpet with Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts, the two reminisced about when Aniston visited Roberts on set to do research for her The Morning Show role. “I was in awe of what goes on behind the scenes,” Aniston says. “It's insane the amount of utter chaos that's going on, then the countdown of 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and it's smooth as silk.” Just like her look.
