Jason and Kylie Kelce confirmed in an adorable video that their 2-year-old daughter Bennett has made up with Philadelphia Eagles mascot Swoop after a shaky first meeting.
Jason, 37, brought Bennett along to the Eagles Autism Challenge at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, May 17 — and her visit definitely went better than last year. The Eagles shared footage via X of Bennett waiting patiently for her turn to meet Swoop and then waving hello to the mascot.
“Bennett Kelce’s second meeting with Swoop went a lot better than last time,” the Eagles wrote via X, adding optimistically: “They’ll be besties in no time!”
At last year’s Eagles Autism Challenge, Bennett seemed a bit more apprehensive when she was introduced to Swoop. Jason tried to lift his daughter’s spirits by bouncing her around and even gave Swoop a high five of his own, but Bennett was still a little shy around the mascot.
“[Bennett] was a little unsure,” the Eagles conceded in a TikTok caption.
Jason and Kylie also share daughters Wyatt, 5, Ellie, 4, and newborn Finn. The couple — who wed in 2018 — originally met on Tinder, though Kylie admitted on the “Sunday Sports Club” podcast in January that her initial attempts to woo the Super Bowl LII champ were rebuffed.
“[My friends and I] were just messing around, so I swiped right,” Kylie, 33, recalled. “We matched [and] I sent him a pick-up line. I said, ‘I need LifeAlert. I’ve fallen for you and I can’t get up.’”
She then confessed to fellow NFL wife Allison Kuch, “He messaged back and was like, ‘No, you got to try harder.’ I then messaged, ‘If I told you I work for UPS. Would you let me handle your package?’ He was like, ‘Much better. I like that one a lot better.’ … And here we are, almost four kids later.”
Jason recently opened up exclusively to Us Weekly about how his family is adjusting following daughter Finn’s birth in March.
“I mean, now I’m more experienced [raising girls],” Jason told Us. “Travis [Kelce] and I didn’t have any sisters. We had no first cousins growing up, so I was not around a lot of young girls. So it’s been new for me, but now it’s pretty standard.”
The six-time All Pro athlete also broached the subject of whether he’d allow his four daughters to date NFL players once they get older.
“I’ll let ’em date whoever they want,” he said, “It’s hard to restrict dating. I’ve been asked this question before, I guess on the podcast [“New Heights”], and my thing is you try and raise them with as much critical thinking ability and try and instill the values that you think are important. And that’s kind of it.”
Earlier this month, Jason went shirtless at the 2025 Truist Championship pro-am amid a weight loss journey. He later told Us that he’d dropped 25 pounds from a high of 295 when he retired from the NFL last year.
“I don’t really want to get below 250,” he insisted. “So, I think somewhere between 250 and 265. We’ll see where it goes.”
