Jennifer Aniston rose to fame with her role in Friends. Her performance as Rachel Green proved that the actress excels in comedic roles and has used it in cinematic productions, however, she assures that she has no intention of starring in another sitcom. The artist is determined that this will not happen again, although she would be willing to change her mind in one situation.
Aniston talked about her decision regarding sitcoms when she was a guest on the SmartLess podcast.
If I knew it would be the same experience as I had with those guys, yes, but I doubt that will ever happen.
Aniston remembers her time spent with the cast of Friends so well that she doesn't believe she'll ever be able to recreate it again. The actors playing the main characters in the TV series have often talked that they also share a friendship in real life and enjoy spending time with each other even off the set. Their real chemistry rang out from the screens, making the bond of the series characters seem more real, which was important for the success of Friends.
Even many years after the series ended, the actors still keep in touch and meet each other, which just goes to show what a unique bond they managed to create by appearing together in the sitcom. Repeating this could indeed be very difficult, so Aniston's skeptical attitude is not at all surprising. The actress, meanwhile, is fulfilling herself, currently starring in the dramatic series The Morning Show. Work is currently underway on season 4 of the series, which is scheduled to air in 2025.
