Gal Gadot's long-serving role as Wonder Woman has created an impressive personal record that her Fast & Furious 11 performance won't be able to break. Despite being away from the franchise for an entire decade, Gal Gadot's Fast & Furious return in Fast X set up her involvement in the next installment. The action series was one of the actress' first big movie roles and remains one of her most popular, making her likely appearance in Fast & Furious 11 all the more interesting, especially as she'll add star power to an already stacked cast.

Her character was a fan favorite during her time in the F&F saga, making Gisele's supposed death all the more heartbreaking. Gadot was also an integral part of the blockbuster movie series, hence why she was brought back, but this still isn't the actress' most lucrative role. In 2013, the DCU cast Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, which became her most iconic performance. The superhero universe massively boosted her profile, and although the actress isn't expected to continue playing Wonder Woman in James Gunn's DC universe, she still set a spectacular streak that Fast & Furious 11 can't beat.

Gal Gadot Has Played Wonder Woman More Than She's Been In Fast & Furious

Although she appeared in Fast & Furious first, Gal Gadot has featured in the DC universe as Wonder Woman more times than she has played Gisele Yashar. Even with her scheduled Fast & Furious 11 return, Gadot will have only been in five F&F movies, compared to her six appearances as Wonder Woman. Alongside her two solo movies, Gadot played Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and The Flash, and while some of these were only short cameos, Gadot's DC character remains the most frequently recurring role of her career.

Having made her debut in 2009's Fast & Furious, the actress proceeded to play Gisele in Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6 and returned in Fast X. It'll be exciting to see where she fits into Fast and Furious 11's story, but despite the hype around Gadot's involvement in the next installment, she will still be one appearance behind her DCU movies. Given James Gunn is rebooting the DC cinematic universe, Gadot is likely to be recast as Wonder Woman, but her record could still stay intact as Fast & Furious will struggle to give the actress more appearances.

Despite Fast X setting up a big role for Gadot going forward, the franchise is scheduled to end with its eleventh movie, meaning it could be the actress' final appearance. Although there has been speculation of a potential twelfth movie, Fast & Furious 11 is being marketed as the end of the saga, indicating that the majority of the main characters will have some sort of definitive ending in the upcoming film. It would explain why the franchise brought back the likes of Gadot and The Rock since they'll help bring the story full circle and avoid leaving unanswered questions.

However, while Fast & Furious 11 may wrap up the story for most characters, there is a chance the action series continues through spinoffs. Rumors about an all-female Fast & Furious spinoff have circulated for a while, and if the franchise opted to go in this direction, it would surely bring Gadot on board. While this would only match her Wonder Woman appearances, there could easily be a sequel if the project were to succeed, but as things stand, Fast & Furious is at risk of failing to break Gadot's remarkable DC record.
