Jennifer Aniston has offered fans a sneak peek into the future of The Morning Show, revealing details of its fourth season.
Devotees of the Apple TV hit show, launched back in 2019, have relished three seasons of behind-the-scenes drama inspired by Brian Stelter's revealing book from 2013 titled Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV.
The show's ensemble of A-list names which includes Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, and Tig Notaro alongside Aniston, guarantees a riveting performance that has gripped viewers since its debut. The previous series left audiences eager for more when it last aired in November.
Taking to her social media, Jennifer Aniston, who stars as the vibrant Alex Levy, lifted the lid on pre-production excitements by sharing an adorable snapshot featuring herself, Notaro, and Witherspoon all donning casual chic with blue jeans and crisp white t-shirts, clutching their scripts at a table read.
Aniston doubled the excitement by revealing a glimpse of the hopeful first episode script, intriguingly titled: "Episode one – My Roman Empire". With palpable anticipation, she captioned her update: "Let @themorningshow season 4 games begin [celebration emoji] Here we come! ", reports the Manchester Evening News.
The reaction was predictably joyful, with comments flooding in from eager fans. Declarations such as "Thank gosh! About time! Been waiting…." and the encouraging "Bring it on, I say" filled the comment section below her post.
Others expressed contentment, writing: "So glad this show will continue! It's so good! " while others couldn't contain their enthusiasm, for the "magic" TV show. Another claimed the show was "the best thing ever on TV."
The Morning Show is sitting at a 66 per cent critics' rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but the audience score is a less-than-stellar 32 per cent. The consensus for the third season among critics is: "Leaning into its soapier elements while bolstering an already star-studded cast with some welcome additions, The Morning Show upgrades from a shaky prestige program into an addictive guilty pleasure."
