Bikini-clad Katy Perry spotted filming racy scenes for music video

Katy Perry has been spotted shooting another racy music video.

The US pop star, 39, is in quite the saucy era, with the release of her single Woman’s World earlier this month accompanied by an X-rated video showing Perry in a G-string.

Now, ahead of her upcoming seventh studio album 143, the Firework singer has been photographed wearing a tiny animal-print bikini while filming scenes in Ibiza, Spain, for a yet-to-be-released song.

In photos, Perry could be seen frolicking on the sand dunes and in the ocean alongside an unknown male co-star, where she showcased her slim figure in the itsy-bitsy swimsuit.

It comes after spicy photos from her latest music video shoot emerged last week, in which the performer was spotted locking lips with a different male co-star – the duo wearing nothing but underwear as they embraced one another.

Footage from that shoot, which was posted on social media, seemed to reveal that the video is for the song I’m His, He’s Mine, which samples Crystal Waters’ classic 1991 dance track Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless).

Perry, who shot to mainstream fame in 2008 with the release of her second album One of the Boys, is in the midst of quite the rebrand amid promotion for her next album, which drops in September and comes four years after her underwhelming sixth release, Smile.

But things got off to a rocky start when Woman’s World was annihilated by critics and fans, in no small part thanks to her collaboration with controversial pop producer Dr. Luke.

The female empowerment track also failed to make the top 40 in a number of countries, while it didn’t chart at all in the top 50 in Australia.

Buzz for her comeback was at fever pitch upon its release, with Perry heavily promoting the lead single by way of headline-making racy campaign photos and videos.

Fans are more hopeful for the rest of the album’s music, with Perry previewing another track from the album, called Lifetimes, at a Barcelona nightclub at the weekend, which was met with a more positive reception on social media.

“It sounds like a BOP,” one user wrote on X, another adding, “This should’ve been the lead single.”
