Anna Camp is opening up about her love life.
The Pitch Perfect star, 42, joined the Wednesday, May 14, Podcrushed podcast episode — hosted by her You costar Penn Badgley — and spoke about her previous marriage to actor Michael Mosley.
Camp and Mosley, 46, married in 2010 after getting engaged in 2008. Mosley filed for divorce after three years of marriage in 2013, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
She explained on the podcast that she met Mosley — with whom she is “still pretty close” — when she was 21 years old in New York City. “It was like an out on the town [night] in Union Square with a couple of friends. I was not planning [on it],” she said. The actress noted that she had recently been broken up with the week prior, and the night she met her husband was the “first time” she had gone out since the breakup.
“So we met very young,” she recalled. “It was like a one-night stand that lasted seven years.”
“We grew a lot,” she explained of the different stages of their relationship. “I changed so much when we both moved from New York to LA together.”
She explained that before her move from N.Y.C., she and Mosley were “doing our laundry, walking down the street, getting drunk, hanging out, partying,” and she admitted, “I wanted to keep that to for the rest of my life because that's what I had imagined.”
But once they moved, she reckoned with the difficulty of not working at the time. “To have it just not be working at all and having us be totally different people, that was really, really, really hard. And that was definitely a heartbreak of mine.”
“But he's great and we still talk,” she continued, adding, “it's not like I don't ever see him.”
The former couple did reunite on set over a decade after their divorce. They worked on the 2024 indie series, Neo-Dome.
Following Camp and Mosley’s marriage, she then tied the knot with her Pitch Perfect costar Skylar Astin in October 2016. Camp and Astin, 37, separated after two-plus years of marriage in April 2019. They finalized their divorce in August of that year.
In March 2020, she went Instagram official with drummer Michael Johnson. “In the middle of nowhere with no one I’d rather be with 💫,” Camp wrote, captioning a photo of her and Johnson smiling while hanging out in the desert of Joshua Tree, California.
It’s unclear when the pair split, but the musician was last featured on her Instagram in August 2024.
More recently, the Bride Hard actress seemingly confirmed she is dating on-set stylist Jade Whipkey. Camp re-shared a photo Whipkey posted of the actress on her Instagram Stories Monday, May 12.
Additionally, the True Blood actress left comments on Whipkey's Feb. 23 and March 8 Instagram posts. On May 3, one of Camp's fans screen-grabbed a photo she had shared that showed Whipkey drinking a glass of wine, and shared it to X. Camp captioned that photo by writing, "DATE NIGHT."
