Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt shocked the world when they announced their split eight years ago, but a source has claimed they are still finalizing their divorce.
The pair were one of Hollywood's hottest couples before they decided to call it quits in September 2016. Angelina and Brad share six children together – Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Pax, 20, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16 – and have been battling over the custody of their kids, most of whom are legally adults, and their French vineyard Château Miraval.
As they work to finalize their divorce, a source has said "both sides are still talking but it's not done yet." Amid the legal drama, Brad is said to have "virtually no contact" with his adult children.
While Brad and Angelina's divorce isn't over yet, a source told People magazine they are "slowly approaching a divorce settlement". The Mirror US has approached representatives of Brad and Angelina for comment.
Brad doesn't have a close relationship with his children and he is believed to have limited visits with his younger kids. A source has blamed the lack of contact on the actor's busy schedule.
"He has virtually no contact with the adult kids. His engagement with the younger kids is more limited in recent months because of his filming schedule," the source told People. "[Angelina] has the kids most of the time, but per their agreement, he has visitation with the younger kids."
Angelina was recently seen out and about in Los Angeles with her teenage daughter Vivienne. The pair were seen enjoying a day out on Tuesday, with the actress opting for a casual outfit, wearing a loose-fitting brown T-shirt and a pair of black trousers.
Body language expert Judi James said the actress gave off a vibe of "superwoman status" during the outing. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror US, she said: "Angelina’s understated look here suggests low-key confidence plus an apparent desire to put herself as far down the other end of the A-list star spectrum from Brad as is humanly possible."
Judi continued: "Her chin is raised to also suggest confidence and her lips pouted front-ward in a look of mild defiance. She even manages to hunt for something in her large handbag while looking ahead and walking at a pace, giving her some kind of superwoman status for those of us who have to stop to rummage like a nesting gerbil when we’re hunting for our own car keys or hankie."
