Jennifer Lawrence says she didn’t hold back when it came to grilling costar Robert Pattinson about his personal life.

Lawrence appeared on The Graham Norton Show on Thursday, Oct. 23, to promote the pair's new thriller comedy, Die My Love. During the conversation, the actress, 35, revealed that she specifically asked Pattinson, 39, about the 2012 moment in which Donald Trump weighed in on the cheating scandal involving his then-girlfriend Kristen Stewart.

At the time, pictures surfaced of Stewart getting cozy with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, while she was still dating Pattinson.

“I mean, if you think I didn’t ask him about Donald Trump tweeting about the breakup with Kristen…” Lawrence said during the conversation with host Graham Norton.

“It was, like, three days after the photos came out with her with, you know, whatever. Young people make mistakes,” she recalled. “And Donald Trump was like, ‘He better leave her. He can do better than her,’ going on a huge rant.”

PEOPLE reached out to reps for Lawrence, Pattinson and Stewart for comment.

At the time, Trump commented on the scandal on Twitter (now X).

"Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart," Trump wrote. "She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again — just watch. He can do much better!"

In another of multiple posts on the topic, Trump, now 79, said that Pattinson should “dump” Stewart.

Pattinson and Stewart, 35, began dating in 2009 after filming the first Twilight movie. Stewart issued a public apology after the photos of herself with Sanders became public.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” she said in the statement. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”

Sanders, 54, also issued a public apology at the time.

“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together,” he said.

Pattinson and Stewart remained together after the incident, though they ultimately went their separate ways in 2013.

Pattinson is currently engaged to model and actress Suki Waterhouse, 33, with whom he shares a daughter, born in March 2024. Stewart, meanwhile, tied the knot with longtime partner Dylan Meyer, 37, in April in a small ceremony in Los Angeles.

Last year, Stewart spoke out about Trump’s comments on the incident, noting that she thought it was odd that someone in his position had so much to say about it.

“Of course he had to weigh in on my tarring and feathering,” she said in a February 2024 interview with Rolling Stone. “It’s like, ‘What is this 20-year-old who has no idea about life doing to this man?’ ”

“F— you, b—-!” she added.
