Are you ready for it? Taylor Swift just added four showstopping new looks to the ‘Eras Tour.’
Stepping on stage at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Friday, October 18, she surprised fans and Swifties everywhere with her style, including the first Reputation outfit that’s diverged from the original over five continents and 130 shows since the tour kicked off in May 2023.
Swift, 34, and her longtime stylist, Joseph Cassell Falconer, have meticulously curated the wardrobe, crafting a visual journey through every musical era. By selecting designers who can embody the essence of each album, they’ve created iconic looks that resonate with fans.
The duo has also introduced fresh interpretations of familiar styles, such as the navy bodysuits that shimmered during the Midnights sets or the ethereal Alberta Ferretti maxi dresses that captured the spirit of Folklore and Evermore.
Now, they have reimagined her Reputation catsuit, swapping the bold, black-and-red Roberto Cavalli number for a new version with one leg exposed. Embroidered with a three-dimensional cobra that coiled around her body, the snake faced upwards and was coated in black bezels, crystal stones and gold baguettes, adding a Midas touch to the ensemble’s edgy aesthetic.
Many Swifties are speculating that reviving the Reputation outfit hints at a possible re-recording of the album, following successful re-releases of 1989, Speak Now, Red and Fearless.
One thing’s for certain: The costumes revealed last night are also in line with fall’s biggest trends, from one-legged pants and jewel tones to statement faux-fur coats and fringe galore.
While we wait to see if Swift has more sartorial surprises in store on night two in Miami, we’re taking a closer look at all four of her newest costumes to inspire our own style era this season.

The Reputation Opener
Swift is always one step ahead of her fans, and it seems the same is true for Fall 2024 fashion. The deconstructed Reputation catsuit she revealed on Friday is already on the horizon for next season, as designers from Bottega Veneta to Coperni sent out one-legged pants on the Spring 2025 runways. And like Swift’s, Louis Vuitton’s spin on the trend came in black and red.
While the directional trousers divided editors and buyers alike, Swift’s unmatched power to change minds (and convince shoppers) is not to be underestimated. Asymmetrical silhouettes of all styles are already shaping up to be a go-to for fall – and some of the best looks appeared to be dripping in liquid gold. Metallic party frocks in lamé and lustrous satin were all over the catwalk – including Saint Laurent’s, where gold silk was cut into elegantly draped minidresses.

The Fearless Era
While Swift performed hits from Fearless, she donned an equally daring look, which deviated from the fan-favorite gold sequined dress she’s worn for past performances. Swift was a vision in the custom Roberto Cavalli confection: a light sapphire bustier minidress, which was shorter than its predecessor, and crafted with hundreds of iridescent stones and sequins that shifted between blue and gold. The playful fringe hem fluttered as she danced in the wind and rain.
She completed the look with custom glitter-flecked Christian Louboutin knee-high boots. Featuring a flat sole, the shoe combined both form and fashion. Louboutin told Vogue he designed the shoe sans heel considering the onstage choreography. Similarly sensible saddle boots were standouts at the Fall shows, like Jil Sander’s slouchy silver chainmail iteration – meaning Swift’s boots are right in step with the latest glamorous yet grounded accessories.

The Acoustic Set
“I’ve got a new dress for you and everything,” Swift said in front of tens of thousands of adoring fans on Friday night during her acoustic set. The chiffon wrap dress, also by Cavalli, had a high-low hem and romantic ruffles. Covered in crystals, the ombré gown featured swirls of “magenta, purple, petroleum and midnight blue,” according to a statement posted to the brand’s Instagram Story on Saturday, October 19. The jewel tones demanded attention from the audience – and they also dominated the collections, including Prada, Miu Miu and Balmain.
Bold colors and boho elements are both leading the charge this season, but the focus is on relaxed elegance and effortless movement. Cavalli and Swift clearly got the memo, as the dress she wore on stage would look just as good on a date with the singer’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

The Midnights Finale
By the time Swift sang Anti-Hero, she had changed into a lavender T-shirt dress embellished with Swarovski crystals and paillettes. She layered it with a shaggy faux fur coat in the same pitch-perfect shade. Custom-made by Jenny Packham, the purple combination was right on theme with Swift's Eras Tour (where lavender cocktails are served over ice with an edible strawberry straw).
But the statement coat is what stood out for eagle-eyed fashion fans. Practically every designer — Burberry, Tom Ford, Givenchy, Erdem, Loewe, you name it — showed some form of faux fur this season. Swifties will likely want to reach for the nearly identical fun and fluffy fur coat that was seen at Self-Portrait. It’s what Taylor would want.
